Hisham Kulhanek

Biography

Hisham Kulhanek was born in Prague in 1958 and moved to Amsterdam with his family in 1970. After studying at Delft University of Technology, he moved to Milan and began a long collaboration with the Japanese designer Makio Hasuike. He now runs a multidisciplinary studio focused on product design. He has taught at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan and led workshops at Domus Academy and the Politecnico di Milano’s Master in Strategic Design.
