Pierluigi Spadolini designed Athena in 1966 as a flexible sofa system based on square upholstered modules. Removable backrests and armrests can be repositioned as layouts and uses change, allowing linear, corner and island configurations. Re-edited by TATO in 2025, the system combines modular planning, carefully studied ergonomics and a broad choice of upholstery.
