Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua

Biography
Corrado Corradi Dell’Acqua (Milan, 1905 – Varese, 1982) was a law expert, amateur writer and self-taught designer. In 1947 he founded Azucena with Luigi Caccia Dominioni and Ignazio Gardella. His early items for the Milan Triennale already anticipated the simplicity and elegance of his later work. He designed lamps made with glass from Milan tramcars, intimate seating, saddle-shaped armchairs, ceramics, cabinets and many other domestic items. Everything began with the house and with his precise idea of how it should be lived in.
