Galleria Sospensione

The Galleria family began in 1958 when Ignazio Gardella designed lighting for the monumental staircase of Milan’s Galleria d’Arte Moderna, leading to the familiar wall lamps with tubular arms and restrained shades. The suspension version was originally made only in very limited quantities for interiors overseen by Gardella. Re-edited by TATO in 2026, Galleria Sospensione follows the original drawings and refined proportions while extending the series’ multiple-arm language into the centre of a room. Its clean structure and quiet material presence allow the lamp to inhabit both historic settings and contemporary architecture.
